The Heat Is On!!

 Today we received our adoption agency's letter of approval for our dossier!! That means that everything is in order to send off to Ethiopia!!  Here's the low-down:

1) Ryno will drive to our state capital with a few of our dossier documents to be state authenticated.  {"Go, Ryno, Go!!"}  But here's the deal... I'm nervous about leaving the papers with him!!  How crazy am I!?   Ryan works in DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT.  For a major corporation.  With hundreds of THOUSANDS of documents each day.  All over the WORLD.  Why am I so worried about him taking in a few items, 35 miles away??  Because this dossier has been my "baby" for 9 months, that's why!  Because now that we're to this very end I feel like I need to "script" everything out for my guy's run to the capital.  I'm so not a controlling kind of person... but now that we're at this very last step... I'm feeling so nervous!!  Plus, it's been much easier for me to do the leg-work of the dossier, so I think it's a bit tricky for me to pass the baton for the good stuff!

2)  We send our original dossier to our courier service in Washington D.C.  The courier will take things to the US Embassy (I think) to do further authenticating (I think).  Then they send our dossier back to our adoption agency.

3) Next Friday -- our dossier should go out to Ethiopia with our agency's next shipment!!
